Curriculum Design at City University

Funded by the: Jisc e-Learning programme.

Lead Institution: City University London

Learner Provider Type: Higher Education

Project Duration: September 2008 - July 2012

The PREDICT project was undertaken to develop flexible and responsive curriculum design processes and practices with an original focus on undergraduate programmes and institution wide curriculum design. There was also to be a focus on interdisciplinary modules. Following some changes within the institution related to parallel projects the project team revised the thinking around the project and the priorities and the focus shifted slightly and became more focused on small scale curriculum design with “cascading ripples” taking place as more staff became involved. The project was taking place at a time when there were also other institution wide projects and it was felt that this project would influence and support these.
