Jisc Transformations Programme

Introduction

The Jisc Transformations programme was aimed at supporting institutions to deliver organisational change through the application of existing Jisc, and other, resources. It was aimed at staff contributing to the delivery of business change, underpinned by ICT, in one of the following areas:

  1. Enhanced student experience
  2. Improved efficiency and/or cost savings
  3. Enhanced organisational capability for Business and Community Engagement (BCE)
  4. Improved environmental performance

Enhanced student experience

Enhancing the student experience is focused on organisation wide initiatives that will significantly transform the student experience, through the application business led approaches and assisted uptake of previous Jisc work.

Improved environmental performance

Improving environmental performance projects are using a number of resources that have come out Jisc’s Innovation programmes in the area of Green ICT. Environmental improvement will, of course, often go hand in hand with other efficiencies and in corporate social responsibility and reputational issues.
